This is an exciting retail venture for St Teresa’s Hospice,  specialising in antiques and painted reworked furniture, which means everything in the shop is unique!

This shop is enabled and supported by our professional and successful House Clearance service which brings in a wide variety of quality stock.  Items are restored, revived, and up-cycled by St T’s own restoration team and then go on sale in the shop.

Shoppers are then offered an eclectic mix of goods, well presented, and this allows customers to indulge in self-expression, they also like the fact that it is sustainable shopping and supports the local St T Hospice.

The Cornmill Centre is an excellent location for this shop as it is very accessible, is close to Bus routes and the Train Station, and has a large car park.

We would be delighted to see you at our Cornmill charity shop, so please do pop in and say hello.

Head of retail at the hospice Marjorie McIntyre said: “This is a really exciting venture. Although there are a number of charity shops in the town this will be the first dedicated to antiques and restored items.

Plus renowned auctioneer and television personality Peter Robinson is supporting this new outlet.  Peter, who owns and runs the Thomas Watson auction house in the town’s Northumberland Road, has established an enviable reputation as an antiques expert and is familiar to many through his regular appearances on the BBC’s Bargain Hunt.

We would be delighted to see you at our Cornmill charity shop, so please do pop in and say hello.
