About This Shop
Feline Care was originally founded in 1997 by The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre charity.
We operate a strict policy never to put a healthy animal to sleep which leads to a number of cats who take longer to re-home. Feline Care was founded to take on these ‘unwanted’ moggies and offer a forever-home to those with nowhere else to go. Over the years Feline Care has evolved as many of the nervous cats we take in have slowly learned to love humans and have since found their own homes. Now we operate a regular rescue and re-homing sanctuary but with a difference because we will always aim to be here for those who need us most.
Feline Care as of now its own charity, a while ago our parent charity the Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre was closing us down, unless we could raise the £70,000 needed to buy our premises, in Norfolk. For a small rescue, it seemed an impossible task but after 14 hard weeks, we made it, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of the general public.
We rely heavily on our shop’s income, and as of recently have a new shop in Diss Norfolk! You will find all sorts of items within our shop such as DVDs, Clothing, books, homeware, animal equipment and much more. We are always looking for volunteers to join a friendly and dedicated team.
