About This Shop
Hamelin Trust is a registered charity (1004432), established in 1983 supporting children and adults with disabilities and their carers throughout Essex. The Trust provides a range of high-quality services enabling individuals with disabilities to be as independent as possible. Support is personalised around individual needs, empowering people to choose how they would like services delivered to them.
Services include:
Hamelin House – Short breaks for children
Gowland’s – Short breaks for adults
The Bungalow – Residential accommodation
U Matter 2 – Carers support
Hydrotherapy Pool Resource
Outreach/Community Support – in your own home and in the community
Day Opportunities and Re-use and Recycling projects giving opportunities to learn new skills to gain employment.

Our charity shop and project teaching retail skills to adults with disabilities. The shop sells furniture, bric-a-brac, small electricals, and clothing all under one roof.
