Emporium by Ty Hafan, Cardiff Royal Arcade

Ty Hafan open a new retro and vintage boutique in Cardiff,  as part of their on-going retail innovation strategy.

Savvy shoppers searching for hidden gems and unique vintage items are in for a treat at this new boutique store in Cardiff’s Royal Arcade.

A dazzling array of designer bargains, vintage treasures and high-street must-haves fill the charity’s exciting new store – Emporium – in the popular shopping arcade located between St Mary Street and the Hayes.

This is the charity’s third boutique store following the huge success of  Tŷ Hafan’s range of Emporium shops in the picturesque market towns of Cowbridge and Abergavenny.

Matt Williams, Tŷ Hafan’s Retail General Manager, said: “The beauty of charity shops is the unique eclecticism and the excitement that comes with discovering a real hidden gem.

“It’s thanks to the generosity of our supporters having donated such high-quality items that we are able to open our third boutique store which, like all of our 31 shops, will make such a difference to life-limited children and their families from across Wales.

“We are incredibly excited to have opened our third Emporium store in such a stunning and sought-after location and we really hope shoppers looking for statement-pieces stop by for a visit as they are sure to find some real treasures.”

The shop will stock high-quality women’s and men’s clothes, art-deco accessories, vintage homeware and vinyl records.

Designer items at affordable prices will also be a regular feature at the city centre shop. Manolo Bhlanik shoes donated by the charity’s Ambassador, Lucy Owen, is an example of the kind of luxury items available at the store.

Tŷ Hafan has supported more than 600 life-limited children and their families since its inception in 1999. The charity takes its support into the heart of the family home and is there for families through every step of their unimaginable journey.
