The Dog Jog 2024 – Wessex Cancer Support

Embark on our fun run with your four-legged friend!

Our dogs are a great incentive to keep moving throughout the day. Now you can go one step further and complete a sponsored challenge together!

Choose which group suits you and your dog best, and remember that this is a fun run and no previous race experience is necessary. Once registered, we will send you a welcome pack including a personalised ‘Sponsor Me’ poster featuring your adorable race partner!

The event starts at 9 am, which gives participants plenty of time to warm up with fitness coach, Belinda of Pazzazz Me. After your run, you can buy lunch from our food vendors and take part in a fun dog show with The Hilt and a sports circuit with Visosport. Fancy dress is optional but highly encouraged for two-legged and four-legged participants, and a face painter will be there for attendees and spectators (humans only!).

Minimum sponsorship: £100 minimum

Group 1: Little Legs (2.5k), 09:30 – 10:00 am, £7.50
This group is perfect for children, walkers, and/or small dogs

Group 2: Main Event (5k), 09:45 – 10:30 am, £10
This group is perfect for runners and/or large dogs

The awards ceremony will begin at 10:30 am. Everyone will receive a certificate and a medal, and the first three finishers of each group will receive a commemorative tennis ball in its own display case.
