Royal Trinity Hospice has opened a brand new menswear charity shop in Kensington. This shop is their first dedicated menswear charity shop, and is one of 24 charity shops owned by Trinity including clothing, furniture and book stores.

Since opening in December last year, the shop has already been a great success. A diverse range of men’s clothing and accessories are sold in the store. This has attracted customers ranging from teenagers to elderly gentlemen. About 50% of the stock in the store is brand new, having been donated from companies and there have been a number of designer labels donated to the store as well. Some more unique donations have included a collection of hats and a military uniform.

Interim  Director of Retail, Barry Moles said “We are thrilled that Royal Trinity Hospice has responded to the demand for a dedicated men’s charity shop. We are really pleased with the way the shop has turned out, after having been converted from a book shop to a modern and stylish men’s store. It’s been quite a transformation!”     The store is run by a team of dedicated volunteers but Trinity is always on the lookout for more people to help out.
