It’s A Knockout – Alice House Hospice
Back by popular demand – this team game returns to the charity’s fundraising calendar after a six-year break and registration is now open for teams to sign up.
It’s A Knockout will take place on Saturday 11th May at Mayfield Park, home of Hartlepool Rugby Club who are also the sponsors and co-organisers of the event.
The Hospice is looking to recruit 18 teams of 6-10 members to compete in a series of games involving obstacles, water, and giant inflatables. Players must be aged 16 and over.
It costs £100 to enter a team of 6-10 members.
Teams are also tasked with the challenge of raising £500 in sponsorship, although business teams can enter by paying the full £600 upfront if preferable.
Teams can register now, with payment due by 1st April.
Teams can still register after this date, subject to availability but payment would be due immediately to hold a team place.
The games will be run by Dave John B’s Knockout Roadshow, a professional touring company that will host the event and deliver a safety briefing to all players before the games begin. Exact timings are to be announced, subject to participating numbers.
There will also be a Family Fun Day running alongside the event for spectators and supporters to enjoy.
