‘ WAG THIS WAY ” – City Hospice

Wag this Way 5km sponsored dog walk and festival in the beautiful grounds of Bute Park, Cardiff

The 5km sponsored walk starts at 11 am where you’ll have the opportunity to walk through the beautiful surroundings of Bute Park with your furfriends!

Thank you to our headline sponsor, Cardiff Veterinary Centre, for supporting our Wag this Way 2024.

Registration fee includes a day pass to the festival, a doggy bandana for your furry loved ones, and on completion of the 5k walk, you’ll be greeted with a goody bag (one per dog). Registration will open from 9.30 am on the day for you to collect your participant number.

The warm-up starts at 10:45 am followed by the walk at 11 am.

Market stalls and food & drink stands will be open from 9.30 am for you to enjoy before and after your 5k walk.

Dog Festival – This year the event village will be bigger and better; with market stalls, live music, dog shows, dog activities, and much more, Wag This Way will be a must-attend for all dog lovers.

Dog show hosted by Cardiff Veterinary Centre –  you will have the opportunity to enter your pooch into various categories such as Handsome Hound, Gorgeous Girl, and Dazzling Duo with more categories still to be announced! Each category costs £2 to enter and you could be in with a chance of winning a coveted rosette.
