The new hospice has been designed and built-in consultation with patients, families and the local community to make sure the recognised needs of local people are catered for and to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. We provide palliative care to anyone over the age of 18 years with a progressive, life-limiting illness, ensuring that the person is able to make the best of the time they have and that quality of their days is more important than quantity. No charge is made to any patient, irrespective of their means.
Local community support and involvement are vital for the success of the hospice. All donations are used to develop the hospice, giving people the satisfaction of knowing they have helped to support local people.
