About This Shop
ecco (environmental conservation co-operative) was set up in 1995 in Harlow, Essex. We are a local environmental charity focusing on recycling and reuse of furniture, clothing, bric a brac and electrical items. We also run Parndon Wood Nature Reserve which is a Green Flag award winning ‘ancient’ managed woodland which has an education centre and is free for the public to explore Harlow’s natural beauty.
Our mission
To alleviate poverty through the provision of low cost, good quality furniture, clothing, electrical and household goods.
To protect the environment through practical environmental projects and education.
To create sustainable employment through waste.
We currently have four shops in total, two in Harlow, one in Epping and one in Bishops Stortford. We sell a wide range of furniture, clothing, electrical and household items. As we run a collection service five days a week we are constantly updating our shops with new items, so you never know what you are going to find! Find out more on our website www.ecco.org.uk
