HFS reuses hundreds of tons of furniture, electricals, and paints each year.
Unwanted reusable goods are collected free of charge throughout Hastings and Rother and reused through massive stores in Hastings and Bexhill. Stock changes daily so visit often! Pensioners, students, and people with low incomes receive discounts to help create safe comfy homes for local households (bring proof of eligibility).
HFS also runs training courses in craft skills and furniture restoration and provides opportunities for volunteers, trainees, and apprentices. Unusual hand-painted furniture created on site.
