About St Helena
About This Shop
St Helena helps local people face incurable illness and bereavement, supporting them and their families, friends, and carers. The charity also supports children and adults who are facing bereavement.
St Helena reaches out to members of their community, helping them make their own choices and live with dignity. By focusing on their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, they aim to bring comfort and relief to all those who need it, offering the people of North Essex individual care and total support, regardless of their diagnosis or personal circumstances.
As a charity, they rely heavily on the help and generosity of their fundraisers, donors, and volunteers. Without them, they wouldn’t be here.
St Helena and the community all share a common goal: to be here every step of the way for everyone who needs them, helping life to go on in the face of dying, death and bereavement.
The charity is supported by over 1,100 hardworking and committed volunteers. Anyone who is interested in volunteering in one of the retail shops should contact The Volunteer Services team on 01206 931466 or email volunteer@sthelena.org.uk
