About This Shop
Treetops Hospice’s network of shops provides an invaluable source of income to support the charity’s ongoing work. All the profits from its eleven charity shops, coffee bar, and the warehouse go directly to providing hospice care to patients and their families across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
We have shops in Allestree, Wollaton, two in Draycott, Eastwood book shop, Heanor, Ilkeston, Long Eaton, Melbourne, Sandiacre, and Stapleford. The coffee bar is situated at Nottingham Magistrates Court. The warehouse is located at Purple Squirrel Storage in Draycott.
Treetops Hospice provides the following services
Treetops Day Care – The Day Care Unit in Risley is open Monday to Friday and offers free physical, emotional and social care to people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and have palliative care needs.
Hospice at Home – This service has been developed especially for those who wish the care to continue at home wherever possible. The care is provided by a team of nurses and health care assistants who are available to give carers a much-needed break when they need it.
Complementary Therapy – These sessions take place in fully equipped treatment rooms, with qualified therapists offering aromatherapy, reiki, reflexology, and massage.
Carers’ Support Group – The support group meets twice a month at the hospice. This is an opportunity for carers to have a break and share experiences. Carers can also access complementary therapy and art therapy sessions.
Bereavement Support Service – The Bereavement Support Service in Sandiacre is available to any adult, child, and their family, regardless of a connection to Treetops Hospice.
